How credits work
Each AI generation costs credits based on the model used. Cheaper models (Flux Schnell, Hunyuan Video) are 1-3 credits. Standard models (Nano Banana 2, Veo 3.1 Fast) are 8-15 credits per generation. Premium video generation (Veo 3.1, Kling 2 Master) is ~30 credits per second of output.
Credit cost is always shown upfront before you confirm a generation, and you can see your remaining balance inside the app at any time. Subscription credits reset each billing period; credit-pack credits don't expire as long as your account is active.

Is there a free trial?
Yes. The weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial with 50 credits, which is enough for 4-6 full generations depending on which AI model you use. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at $7.99/week. You can cancel anytime from the App Store subscription settings — the free trial does not auto-convert if you cancel before day 3.
What's the difference between a subscription and a credit pack?
Subscriptions (weekly / monthly / yearly) include a recurring credit allowance and access to every feature. Credit packs are one-off top-ups you can buy on top of an active subscription when you run out of credits mid-cycle. Credit packs are intentionally gated behind an active subscription — they're a top-up, not a replacement for subscribing.
How many credits does a generation cost?
Costs vary by AI model. A standard AI photo generation (Nano Banana 2) is around 8 credits. Video generation using premium models like Veo 3.1 or Kling is higher — roughly 30 credits per second of video. Cheaper text-to-image models like Flux Schnell are only 1 credit. Every model's cost is shown upfront before you confirm a generation.
Can I pause or cancel anytime?
Yes. Gluely is sold through the App Store, so subscription management, cancellation, and refund requests all happen in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep the credits you've already been allocated for that cycle.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits from an active subscription do not roll over between billing periods. Credits from purchased credit packs do not expire as long as your account is active. This means if you expect uneven usage month to month, the credit-pack approach is more forgiving than over-provisioning a subscription tier.
Is there a yearly plan discount?
Yes. The yearly plan is $79.99/year, which works out to roughly $6.67/month — about half the monthly sticker price. Over a year it saves about $100 compared to monthly. It's the right choice if you post daily or weekly and know you'll use Gluely for more than 6 months.
Is Gluely free to download?
Yes, completely free to download from the App Store. You get starter credits on first launch so you can try a generation without paying. After that you can either start the 3-day free trial or continue with the starter credits until they're used.
Does Gluely have student or team discounts?
Not currently. The yearly plan at ~$6.67/month equivalent is the best available rate today. We're considering team / agency pricing for heavy batch use — email [email protected] if that's a fit for your workflow.
